The Pyramid of Success

     Industriousness:

"There is no substitute for work. Worthwhile results come from hard work and careful planning."

I thinking learning from the Pyramid of Success is a great way to start improving your life. It as so many great advices that are helpful. This can also give you more ideas in the things you want to complete, things such as goals. It might even motivate you as well.

     Enthusiasm:

"It is the engine that powers all blocks of the Pyramid. It is why I chose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of Success. It is where everything begins."

   Friendship:

"Comes from mutual esteem, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort."

I believe that friendship is one of the most important things in life. There are many reasons because friends are like also part of your family. They are able to understand you, they help you in tough situations and are always there for you. Not only that but it makes everyday fun. There are many ways to connect with them too. Whether its social media or gaming or at workplaces and school.

      Loyalty:

"To yourself and to all those depending upon you. Keep your self-respect."

 Cooperation:

"With all levels of your co-workers. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way. "

I know that teamwork is really important. The only true way I learned about that was playing team-based games. Teamwork is really important especially when you want to win. Team cooperation is key as well. You wouldn't want someone to mess up the whole plan and then that will end up getting you a loss because they didn't want to do their job.

Intentness:

"Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievement by resisting all temptations and being determined and persistent."

School Break Days

  1.  I did many things during my break but most of it I just spent my time playing games. I did spent more time with my father ever since he doesn't live with us anymore. We bought a laptop to help him learn more about the use of it and how to use it. The reason for this is because he wants an upgrade to his career since he needs to earn more for his living expenses. We did go to places and restaurants as well.
  2. During that time I went to many food places, and a state. I went to Phoenix, Arizona and somewhere in Glendale. to visit my brother's family and stayed there for the weekend. We went there to celebrate New Year's Eve and stay up super late. There we went to play games on a PS3 and have fun controlling a drone. There was also an amusement park near a Walmart where you can hear the screams of people on the rides. We didn't really go there because we didn't have enough money, so instead we went ice skating at a convention center near the stadium of the University of Phoenix.
  3. I didn't really meet anyone new I only met my brother his wife and my two nephews.
  4. We watched a couple of movies. First we watched Annabelle and then Transformers the Last Knight.

Class Evaluation

Class Evaluation

  1. Some Things I liked about this class is that we were able to play coding games. Stuff like that is fun. Including the Scratch program. I got to learned a few things about coding to. Another thing I liked about this class is that we got to talk about some of the things we like so we shared them to other people.
  2.  I don't think there was anything that I didn't like about this class. Maybe the flashcards because they were a lot to copy. I had to do them anyways because it was part of the final and I didn't want to fail this class.
  3. A recommendation I would say for this class would be to have more time to report our journals for the day. I noticed that we always had a little bit of time to do that.
  4. A highlight would be the time when I managed to finish up to 100 of my flashcards before the final came.
  5. I think I did do my best in the class especially since I still did my goals even though I didn't have a journal for it. Also because I took the time to finish my flashcards.
  6. Yes, I would right down some goals while I'm in class. I would also read them when I have the time.
  7. Yes I say that I am committed to being  a CTR person everyday and being at a personal development. I would like to be better each day and because  its a good thing to do.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be proactive

"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."

Being proactive is a really important thing to be. Being proactive is important because it means you will take responsibility for your life and the actions you do in it. Proactive people make choices based on values and they think before they act. There are ways in which being proactive can save you time and money. It helps with self improvement and self awareness. You also have a piece of mind, meaning that you are happy where you are and where you are going being you have an idea of what is coming. Another small example would be easier to sleep at night when you have a plan for the morning.

Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind

"Control your own destiny or someone else will." (Jack Welch)

Habit 3: Put first things first

"Organize and execute around priorities."

Habit 7: Sharpen the saw

Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional

My day
Aug 21- 23, 2017

Right now I feel the same. It's okay and funny. I'm currently in my computer class. I have to work on this blog too as part of  my work.  I start remembering which class I have next after this one. I also start to get hungry. Which turns out that lunch is coming. I remember Monday's solar eclipse as well. Although I wasn't able to see it myself, I got to watch it live on a website.

Summer Activities

Summer Activities

During my summer I had lots of fun, although I had to be ready for summer school by 11:30 a.m.
Everyday we read and wrote 5 paragraph essays and did quizzes on what we read. I also had fun with family. We went to a place called Casitas Lake where we would swim in the Lazy River. It is a water amusement park. We also went to a beach called Redondo Beach. There we play arcade games and won tickets. I won 1000 tickets in a game where you spin the wheel and whichever number you land on will be the number of tickets you get. Another place we went to was a lake called Santa Fe Dam. I went swimming there with my family and friends. We went to the theatre and watched movies such as Transformers: The Last Knight and The Emoji Movie. Finally, another place I went to was a place called Golf N'Stuff. There I got to drive floatees, play golf and race in Go-Karts.
